From this list, you can see that the average volume per hour for
IDS|DDPLUS and HDS (for your ".*" example REQUEST) is:

IDS|DDPLUS -  42.031 MB/hr *** average ***
HDS        - 259.322 MB/hr *** average ***

For NEXRAD3, the estimate for your example REQUEST is more-or-less:

(5/160 * 688.504 ~= 22 MB/hr *** average ***

(There are more-or-less 160 NEXRADs providing Level III products;
your example request was for 5 of those NEXRADs.)

NB:

- the volumes in the datastreams are _NOT_ fixed.  They typically
  increase over time as more data gets added.  In particular,
  the volume of NEXRAD Level III data will jump as dual polarization
  products get added.
