Hi Heath,
re:

The REQUEST line for your ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf file for IDS|DDPLUS data products
containing Slidell, LA raob reports I sent previously was correct. I ran:
notifyme -vl- -f 'IDS|DDPLUS' -p USUS90
for an extended period of time, and I saw the reports received. If you
didn't seen any data, it is likely that you do not have a pattern-action
file action to write them to disk.
Since we do not file the raob products in a way that you would likely want
to, I do not have an existing pattern-action file pattern to pass along.
A quick look at the IDD Product ID for this product:
USUS90 KWBC 081400
suggests that the following action may be appropriate:
IDS|DDPLUS ^(USUS90) .... (..)(....)
FILE -close
data/raob/(\2:yyyy)(\2:mm)\2/\1_(\2:yyyy)(\2:mm)\2_\3.raob
NB:
- remember that certain white spaces are tabs:
IDS|DDPLUS<tab>^(USUS90) .... (..)(....)
<tab>FILE<tab>-close
<tab>data/raob/(\2:yyyy)(\2:mm)\2/\1_(\2:yyyy)(\2:mm)\2_\3.raob
This should file USUS90 raob reports into files whose names
will look like:
~ldm/data/raob/CCYYMMDD/USUS90_CCYYMMDD_HHMM.raob
where, for example:
CCYY -> 2010
MM -> 06
DD -> 08
HHMM -> 1200
Again, there are a semi-infinite number of ways of writing actions to process
data; this is only one, and it may not be exactly what you want/need.
Cheers,
Tom
