Hi Brendon,

were interested

Excellent.

OK, I am working on determining this.

FYI: the process for getting the data to the toplevel IDD machines for
CONDUIT is a bit obscure, and there are people involved in the process
whom I have not had contact with yet. They are the ones that should
be able to answer detailed questions on product frequency, whether the
hourly products are "first guess", etc.
Also, we are now experimenting with making the products available via
TREDDS. In order to do this, I had to implement the 'gribinsert' processing
of the fields being sent from the WOC in test mode. Depending on what
your ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf REQUEST line looks like, you may nave already
noticed more products flowing in the EXP datastream from daffy. The
additional products are the individual GRIB2 messages that have been
extracted from the original products, and their IDD Product IDs are also
very close if not identical to what they will be when they flow in CONDUIT.
The 'gribinsert' process will run on a machine at the WOC that is upstream
from the CONDUIT toplevel machines. This process will turn EXP products
into CONDUIT ones AND eliminate any/all of the ones that users have determined
to no be useful.
Thanks for the input!
Cheers,
Tom
