I think that this is a great idea! The first step would be to get a contact at the El Salvador Met Service that has experience in Unix/Linux. The second thing would be for them to setup an 'ldm' account on a machine that has a good Internet connection. The third would be to run some 'traceroute's to see what their routing looks like. From this we could figure out what upstream site(s) would be best to feed them. Was there any talk about what datastreams would be most useful for them? > He wants me to go to El Salvador but the funding is limited.
