Hi, Sorry it took a bit of time to get around to answering this, but we were not quite sure if it was really intended for us (Unidata)... > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: From Weather.gov > Date: Mon, 17 Nov 2008 18:15:38 +0000 (UTC) > From: address@hidden (Tom Priddy) > To: address@hidden, address@hidden > > Below is the result of your feedback form. It was submitted by > Tom Priddy (address@hidden) on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 18:15:38 > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > email: address@hidden > subject: From Weather.gov > comments: Is the GFS-Lamps forecast data available on Unidata's LDM? > The referring webpage: > http://www.weather.gov/disclaimer.php > > submit: Submit Comments... > > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > HTTP_USER_AGENT: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET > CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; InfoPath.2) We interpret the above to be asking if the Unidata Internet Data Distribution system (IDD) includes GFS LAMPS forecasts. The answer is yes, because the GFS LAMPS Guidance products were added to NOAAPort back in 2007, and we relay all of the data available in NOAAPort in our IDD. The data in question can be found in the IDD HDS datastream. For reference, here is the administrative message sent in NOAAPort and in the address@hidden email list that announced the addition of the GFS LAMPS Guidance products to NOAAPort in May, 2007: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/mdl/gfslamp/docs/tin07-13_lamp_addtn.txt Cheers, Tom -- **************************************************************************** Unidata User Support UCAR Unidata Program (303) 497-8642 P.O.
