[TIGGE #EVX-684652]: ldm crash

Manuel,

I just released version 6.4.6 of the LDM.  It has fixes in it that should 
eliminate both causes of the crashes you've been experiencing.  See 
<http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm>.

Because you're only one who's reported these crashes, I would like you to build 
the new version with debugging support enabled (i.e., CFLAGS=-g), then, if it 
does crash, please send me a stack trace.

Thank you very much for the reports.  They revealed two very obscure bugs.
