Hi Mark,
re: three methods of processing Antarctic-IDD GRIB1 products
I read your inquiry and reviewed the three methods you are investigating
for processing the products; all of your entries look reasonable
except the one for using the GEMPAK decoder dcgrib2:
EXP USAP\.NCAR\.GRIB\.D1\.(....)(..)(..)(..).(.*)
PIPE decoders/dcgrib2 -d data/gempak/logs/dcgrib2_amps.log
-e GEMTBL=/home/gempak/GEMPAK5.9.2/gempak/tables
-a copy of the AMPS GRIB table needs to be in the gempak tables directory
The last line needs to be replaced with the appropriate value.
Question: Have you tried these methods and run into problems? If yes,
please send us the log output so we can help pinpoint the problem you
are (apparently) seeing.
Cheers,
Tom
