I just wanted to update you on the status of your inquiry. The toplevel IDD relay machine atm.geo.nsf.gov has been down due to a hardware failure since Friday, April 14. Second, atm.geo.nsf.gov only accepts LDM feed requests that come over Internet2. I do not know if the network path from your machine to atm.geo.nsf.gov goes over Internet2 links, but if it doesn't, you will never get access to the machine. In order to test your LDM installation and CONDUIT feed request, please modify the ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf request line and change atm.geo.nsf.gov to idd.unidata.ucar.edu. idd.unidata.ucar.edu is a toplevel IDD relay that we operate here in our offices in Boulder, Colorado.
