>From: Tiziana Cherubini <address@hidden> >Organization: University of Hawaii >Keywords: 200406010825.i518PPtK003936 IDD GFS Tiziana, > since Friday 28 we are not receiving the NCEP GFS data >that we usually get through LDM/Unidata, and we aren't able >to download them from the ncep web site either. Do you mean that you are not receiving GFS model data from the CONDUIT datastream on the U Hawaii machine kiloaoloa.soest.hawaii.edu? Or, are you referring to GFS model output that is in the IDD HDS stream? If you are talking about CONDUIT data on kiloaoloa.soest.hawaii.edu, then your upstream feed site is marzipan.atmos.washington.edu, and the LDM/IDD contact at UW is: Harry Edmon address@hidden > We would appreciate if you could give any information >about this? marzipan.atmos.washington.edu feeds all CONDUIT data from thelma.ucar.edu, which, in turn, feeds all CONDUIT data from the NWS injection point. Both marzipan and thelma are currently getting all of the CONDUIT data including GFS model output. If you are still not getting all of the data you are requesting from marzipan, please check your ~ldm/logs/ldmd.log* files to see if your request for data is getting reclassed to a subset. If it is, you need to let Harry know that you want to receive all of the data. I don't believe that this should be the case since a comparison of the volume of CONDUIT data that marzipan is receiving matches the volume of data that kiloaoloa is receiving. >Thanks for your help, Please let us know if you continue to have problems AND what machine you are having the problems on. Cheers, Tom -- NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publically available through the web. If you do not want to have your interactions made available in this way, you must let us know in each email you send to us. >From address@hidden Tue Jun 1 21:32:11 2004 thanks for your quick reply. Since this morning data are coming back just fine, so I suppose the problem is over. Thanks a lot, Tiziana.
