Glenn, caught me before I stepped out... Port 388 needs to be open, especially if 111 (portmapper) is not.. Sure you can be a data sink, thats what you are anyway right? So yes you can be a leaf node and not propogate to anyone. I can give you specific IP's if you are nailing it down that tight.. I will probably be feeding you from our machine atm at NSF, it is a top tier site with full 4 channel ingestion..
