>From: Charlie Murphy <address@hidden> >Organization: Kean University >Keywords: 200206041648.g54Gm9J09277 FNEXRAD Charlie, I am CCing Bill Noon of Cornell on this exchange. >I wanted to get the new national Nexrad composites, and >my Nexrad feed is snow.cit.cornell.edu > >When I do a notifyme for the floater feed , ie. > >notifyme -v -l- -h snow.cit.cornell.edu -f NMC3 -o 3600 > >I get an error, i.e. > >Jun 04 16:46:09 notifyme[20447]: Starting Up: snow.cit.cornell.edu: >20020604154609.971 TS_ENDT {{NMC3, ".*"}} >Jun 04 16:46:11 notifyme[20447]: NOTIFYME(snow.cit.cornell.edu): 7: >Authentication error; No match for request >Jun 04 16:46:36 notifyme[20447]: NOTIFYME(snow.cit.cornell.edu): 7: >Authentication error; No match for request > >Do I need to have a separate authorization from snow.cit.cornell.edu >for the NMC3 feed?? The same notifyme command from a machine here at the UPC to Cornell does not show the same error: It appears that the allow that Cornell has in place for you does not include NMC3 (aka FNEXRAD). /local/ldm% notifyme -v -l- -h snow.cit.cornell.edu -f NMC3 -o 3600 Jun 04 18:37:53 notifyme[28138]: Starting Up: snow.cit.cornell.edu: 20020604173753.270 TS_ENDT {{FNEXRAD, ".*"}} Jun 04 18:37:53 notifyme[28138]: NOTIFYME(snow.cit.cornell.edu): OK So, it looks like an email to the LDM administrator at Cornell is in order. Even though the UPC is allowed by Cornell, the notifyme command that I ran did not show the receipt of any FNEXRAD products at Cornell in the past hour. This may show that they are not requesting the FNEXRAD feed from their upstream feed site.
