I just tried 

notifyme -vl - -h redwood.atmos.albany.edu -f "MCIDAS"

and received

My campus is going through some dns changes, would it be possible to
add a allow entry for wr.psi.ncc.edu They are the same machine
(198.38.12.245) but I'm guessing your dns is resolving it as ncc.edu
and not sunynassau.edu
