Hi Chris, The concept was to have an allow for *.edu for NNEXRAD. Some sites have modified this and hard coded who can feed NNEXRAD from them...against our reccomendation. So, as always, you can visit: http://unidata.ucar.edu/projects/idd/sitelist.html to see who admins the site. I will send off a message to Bryan White address@hidden to have an allow for : opwx.db.erau.edu for NNEXRAD Request all other feeds from thelma at this time, I have an allow ANY for you...but please do not request NNEXRAD from thelma. Always interested in new ingest sites, we are just setting one up now at NSF that should help out things on the east coast, and yes we are always willing to help set-up, and if possible channel funds your way to accomplish this goal...this, of course, needs to have the big heads involved in the decison process, I am just speaking from past experiences.. I'll sling a note to Bryan and cc you for the NNEXRAD feed. Thanks, ...Keep me posted -Jeff ____________________________ _____________________ Jeff Weber address@hidden Unidata Support PH:303-497-8676 NWS-COMET Case Study Library FX:303-497-8690 University Corp for Atmospheric Research 3300 Mitchell Ln http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/staff/jweber Boulder,Co 80307-3000 ________________________________________ ______________________ On Wed, 23 Jan 2002, Christopher Herbster wrote: > Who do I contact to have us added to the allow list? > > Here's what I get: > > [ldm@supercell ~]$ notifyme -v -l - -h cirp.met.utah.edu -f NEXRAD -o 3600 > > Jan 23 22:19:35 notifyme[7394]: Starting Up: cirp.met.utah.edu: > 20020123211935.532 TS_ENDT {{NNEXRAD, ".*"}} > > Jan 23 22:19:37 notifyme[7394]: NOTIFYME(cirp.met.utah.edu): 7: Access denied > by remote server > > Jan 23 22:19:38 notifyme[7394]: Interrupt > > Jan 23 22:19:38 notifyme[7394]: exiting > > (I've added an extra newline after each line of output in case the formatting > of the email makes it difficult to read.) > > Also, will I only be requesting the "NEXRAD" feedtype from this site? > (Getting the floater feeds from FSU or ??? ?) > > Also, is Unidata interested in having any more NOAAPort feed entry > points into the IDD?
