Greg,

I have added an allow line for *.joss.ucar.edu for
the IDD feedtype NMC2 on shemp.unidata.ucar.edu.

For the eta216 data your request line should look like:
request NMC2    "eta/alaska"    shemp.unidata.ucar.edu

For dcgrib, a simple pattern works:
NMC2    eta
        PIPE    dcgrib ............etc.....   YYYYMMDDHH_eta@@@.gem
