NIU's internet connections will be down and out between 0Z and 8Z Sunday
morning (6 PM Saturday to 2 AM Sunday, CT). So, if you want data during
these times, please feed from your backup sites. Thanks and sorry for all
the inconveniences. This is really going to make us a lot more reliable.

Subject: Second Planned Power Outage

This is a follow-up to the preliminary alert.

Network core connectivity services and all computing devices that are
located in the "machine room", SP133, will be off-line for a period of 6
to 8 hours beginning 1800 hours, Saturday 19 Feb 00.  This is the second
outage scheduled to implement a new battery back-up system.  Other than
some brief periods, to be scheduled in the future normal SIT window,
this project will be completed at the completion of this outage.  We
appreciate your cooperation.
