Subject: Abilene routing established

The connection between NCAR and Abilene was brough up this morning.
NCAR now routes packets as follows:

Traffic to sites that have both Abilene and vBNS connections uses
Abilene. Traffic to Abilene-connected sites uses the Abilene link.
Traffic to vBNS-connected sites uses the vBNS link. Traffic to sites
that aren't connected to Abilene or the vBNS uses the Qwest link
(commodity Internet).

Please let NETS know if you notice problems.
