Subject: LDM Host Upgrade


        SIO's ldm host (meteora.ucsd.edu) is currently scheduled to
        be upgraded to ldm 5.09 (and Y2K compliance) at about 20Z on
        Thursday, 13 Jan 2000 (i.e., tomorrow).  If things work out
        OK (do they ever, really?) we should be back up quickly.

        Other sites using meteora.ucsd.edu as their primary or fail-
        over host may want to make arrangements to look elsewhere
        during that period.
