Peter,

Just to add my two cents into this.  If there was a firewall blocking port 388 I
should not be able to ldmping your host (which I can from redwood), and we both
would not be getting entries in ldmd.log about connection refused.  The ldm's
are making connection to port 388.

There is still a problem with the reverse DNS lookup for your ldm host.  I can
forward resolve it's IP from name but can get it's name from IP.  That is the
problem.
