Peter,

1) I added modifications to ldm_check.script to include
ldmping failing message to a log file on both iita and 
thelma.  The log file name on iita is

        /home/ldm/logs/ldmping_thelma_fail

and the log file name on thelma is

        /home/ldm/logs/ldmping_iita_fail

2) I have removed Robb's name from the mailing list on all
LDM servers I currently adminstrate, except the one on thelma.  
(Robb, please let me know if you are still getting the "data
missing" messages from any of them.)

3) I have switched back to ldm-5.0.6 on iita.  ldm-5.0.8.sav didn't
seem to help the WSI data latency problem much.  The data is 
pretty much on time about one hour after I started ldm-5.0.6:

Here are some information that show the WSI data latency problems with
ldm-5.0.8 and ldm-5.0.8.sav: (ssss@mmss is the max_latency of the hour.
For example, 3133@1128 means 3133sec is the max_latency at 11min and 
28sec after the hour.)
