Corp for Atmospheric Research address@hidden WWW: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/ =============================================================================== ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Fri, 23 Apr 1999 09:59:05 -0400 (EDT) From: Jeff Masters <address@hidden> To: address@hidden Subject: More radar data We use a pattern like ^(SD....) to capture radar data, and last night, up to 6Mb of radar data per hour (vs. the old 400K per hour) began coming in over the LDM data feed from Thelma. Does anyone know offhand the the headers of the MDR vs. RCM vs. NEXRAD data, so I can filter the data appropriately? Presumably the long-awaited appearance of NEXRAD data on NOAAPORT has begun in earnest... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dr. Jeff Masters (address@hidden) ( ) Meteorologist /\ Home of the ( ) Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Space Sciences /\ / \ /\ /\ ( ) University of Michigan / \/ \/ \ /\ / \ ------ Ann Arbor, MI 48109-2143 ______/ / \/ \_ \\\\\ (734)-764-4584 (voice) Weather Underground \`\`\ (734)-764-5137 (fax)
