Hello Kota,
I sent a reply to your email on September 9 (Wednesday). I've copied it here
again in case it missed you.
NMAP2 does indeed display GOES-13 AREA files, but does not support display of
netCDF files.
McIDAS products are available on the UNIWISC feed as PNG-compressed AREA files
(see http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/data/datastream.html ), which can be read
natively by NMAP2 and the GEMPAK programs. The LDM pattern action file
pqact.conf (
https://github.com/Unidata/gempak/blob/master/ldm/etc/templates/pqact.gempak_images.new
and ~ldm/etc/pqact.gempak_images on an installed system ) defines where the
UNIWISC imagery will be filed, the default location being subdirectories under
data/gempak/images/sat, known in the GEMPAK environment as $SAT. This directory
is automatically available in NMAP2 under Data -> Satellite.
