Hi Jason,

First thing to check is that /home/gempak/NAWIPS/Gemenviron is sourced, either 
manually or in your .cshrc file (.bashrc for bash). See 
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/gempak/doc/install.html#sourcing
