Hi Andre,

If you're looking for the standard 0.5 degree global GFS grid from NCEP 
CONDUIT, you already have it in "GFSHD".  Is there another GFS grid in 
particular that you're looking for?  There are a few other GFS grids available 
via the NGRID feed from NOAAport, many of them visualized here 
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/gempak/grids/
