Gustavo,
I see 7 stations from Argentina at 1200 UTC today (20110824), with 8 stations
defined in $GEMTBL/stns/snworld.tbl
STID = SASA STNM = 87047 TIME = 110824/1200
STID = SARE STNM = 87155 TIME = 110824/1200
STID = SACO STNM = 87344 TIME = 110824/1200
STID = SAME STNM = 87418 TIME = 110824/1200
STID = SAEZ STNM = 87576 TIME = 110824/1200
STID = SAZR STNM = 87623 TIME = 110824/1200
STID = SAVC STNM = 87860 TIME = 110824/1200
What are you seeing with
SNFILE = ... 20110824_upa.gem
AREA = AG
DATTIM = all
SNPARM = tmpc
STNDEX =
LEVELS = all
VCOORD = pres
OUTPUT = f/arg.txt
MRGDAT = no
GEMPAK-SNLIST>r
GEMPAK-SNLIST>e
grep STID arg.txt | grep SA
The SNLIST program will dump the contents to a file 'arg.txt', which is then
grepped for STID's beginning with 'SA' for Argentina.
About 'file could not be opened', in the past I've seen this happen when more
than one instance of dcuair is running, typically from an accidental second
pattern action. Check your ~ldm/data/gempak/logs/dcuair.log file for multiple
process IDs and reply back with any error message or anything odd-looking.
If we can't figure this out soon we should see about granting me remote access
to your system so I can check it personally.
