Your entry in $GEMTBL/config/datatype.tbl specifies forecast grids while your files contain both forecast and analysis grids. These analysis grids contain no forecast time (such as F000), so gempak libraries are unable to add them to the selection window. You'll need to rename the 0hr analysis grids using the GDATTIM format of YYYYMMDD/HHMMFfff. This problem has brought an NMAP2 bug to my attention (not populating the selection window with forecast grids that *are* available simply because 0hr grids are interpreted as analysis grids). The GD programs don't deal with this selection window which is why you didn't run into any problems. Modifying your grid date/time format to include the 0hr forecast time is the quick solution. -Michael Unidata > Hi Michael, > > > If the GD programs are working with these files but NMAP2 isn't, my first > > guess would be $GEMTBL/nmap2/ files need editing (unless you covered this > > already). > > I've edited several tables related to NMAP2 product listing and > restore files, both in $GEMTBL/nmap/ and elsewhere, but the > $GEMTBL/config/datatype.tbl has a subcat parameter which is currently > set to SCAT_FCT.
