Just found the problem: a difficult to see syntax error in the pqact entry for satellite images: NIMAGE ^satz/ch[0-9]/.*/(.*)/([12]][0-9])([0-9][0-9])([01][0-9])([0-3][0-9]) ... notice [12]] instead of [12] I fixed this on your machine and re-read the pqact file "ldmadmin pqactHUP" and now see satellite images being filed away in /data/ldm/gempak/images/sat/ some notes: * you'll probably want to remove the empty directories /data/ldm/gempak/images/sat/ch1/ and ch2/ * in your pqact.conf there are entries for NDLN, WSI, DDS|IDS, HDS and HRS. there won't be ingested and processed as long as your ldmd.conf entry only specifies the NIMAGE feed. * you may want to direct /home/ldm/data to /data/ldm with a symbolic link, though how you have things set up currently will work just fine. * I noticed you have GEMPAK 5.11.1 installed. have you considered upgrading to 6.2.0? for 32bit linux the install is straightforward.
