Scott, For the gempak user error "Error: Can't open display:", try setting your DISPLAY environmental variable (setenv DISPLAY :0.0 or use export for bash). For the research user error "Fatal Error: cannot fine resource file (Ntop), check $XUSERFILESEARCHPATH or under $HOME", it seems that the $NAWIPS environmental variable is not set, as Ntop should be found in $NAWIPS/resource/Ntop. What is the output of "env"? Are you seeing the correct $NAWIPS and GEMPAK paths? Did you modify Gemenviron.profile at all? -Michael > Any ideas on this? :-) > Thanks! > - scott > > On Fri, May 29, 2009 at 10:30 AM, Scott Behrends <address@hidden>wrote: > > > Can you check that the research user is correctly sourcing the Gemenviron > >> file? > > > > > > Sure.
