Evidently, the binary release we created for GEMPAK 5.10.2 was made before upgrading our Sun Fortran installation to version 8.3: % f77 -V NOTICE: Invoking /opt/SUNWspro/bin/f90 -f77 -ftrap=%none -V f90: Sun Fortran 95 8.3 SunOS_sparc 2007/05/03 Your choices at this point are: - find a current version of the libfsu.so library to use (I am attaching one for you to try; it should be put into a directory in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH for GEMPAK users, and that directory should be before the directory where the existing libfsu.so file lives). By the way, there is no guarantee that the version of libfsu.so.1 I am attaching will be sufficient to run all of the executables in the 5.11.1 binary release. - upgrade to the current Sun Fortran compiler suite (purchase it if necessary) - build GEMPAK from source (so the libraries on your Sun system will be used) > Thanks a lot. No worries. Cheers, Tom **************************************************************************** Unidata User Support UCAR Unidata Program (303) 497-8642 P.O.
