[GEMPAK #ODE-267279]: GDRADR description

Jimmy,

GDRADR will find the most recent time within the desired time window (specified
up to RADDUR minutes before RADTIM) for each radar site for a given level III
product.

The mosaic product is the maximum value found at a location within
the gridded domain.

If you are gridding N0R for example, when a grid point is within multiple
radar domains, the maximum N0R value from the level III products is taken
(The level of the observation is in this case tilt 0 for the radar it
is obtained from). This is generally a nominal 0.5 degrees, but could vary.

If you were to grid NCR, which is the composite reflectivity radar product,
then the
level would be the level for the radar in which the maximum value had occured.
