Art, The $GEMPAK/source/bridge/ls/lstemp.f routine defines the region specific reporting of max/min as 12/18/24 hour values. The lswgem.f routine only writes out 24 hour max/min values into the TDXC and TDNC parameters. There are no comments in the code that this has been changed recently. The WMO 306 manual provides the region specific time period reporting.
