Gilbert, The Level 2 data is just the reflectivity, velocity amd spectrum width volume data from the radar, and not postprocessed products such as the level 3 data. You could run software (such as WDSS) using Level 2 data for algorithms such as mesocyclone and TVS detection etc, but that is not a part of Level 2 "data". The NWS TVS, STI, Meso, Hail, etc. products are level 3 output and available on the NWS ftp server. NOAAPORT does not carry the full suite of Level 3 data at this time.
