Lu, The CMC grid data does have some fields available at the 3 hour intervals. These can be seen through the "Info" button in the grid browser in Garp, or the GDINFO program: Eg: 104 060110/1200F003 2 -1 HGHT DPDK 105 060110/1200F003 2 -1 HGHT DWPK 106 060110/1200F003 2 -1 HGHT TMPK 107 060110/1200F003 0 -1 NONE P03M 108 060110/1200F003 0 -1 NONE PRXX 109 060110/1200F003 0 -1 NONE PRES 110 060110/1200F003 0 -1 NONE PMSL 111 060110/1200F003 0 -1 NONE CLD ... 216 060110/1200F009 2 -1 HGHT DPDK 217 060110/1200F009 2 -1 HGHT DWPK 218 060110/1200F009 2 -1 HGHT TMPK 219 060110/1200F009 0 -1 NONE P09M 220 060110/1200F009 0 -1 NONE PRXX 221 060110/1200F009 0 -1 NONE PRES 222 060110/1200F009 0 -1 NONE PMSL 223 060110/1200F009 0 -1 NONE CLD etc. Since there are some grids at these times, Garp will present them in the available time list. To avoid these times in the plotting menu, hold the CTRL key while left mouse clicking the intermediate times you don't want.
