David, The programs I use are gdradr and nex2gini which are part of the GEMPAK source distribution. However, you should realize that these programs are using the level 3 products, and are not doing volume compositing of level 2 data. . A group from CIMMS and NSSL has undertaken the 3-d gridding of level 2 data for composite products called the NMQ (National Mosaic and multi-sensor QPE), which we they are working on for distribution in by the IDD in the near future.
