Steve,

I am using the one that came with fedora Core2 

gcc (GCC) 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7)

and I compiled 5.7.2p2 from source

Adam,

Got it. I'm in the process of putting together a new release.
We may have a FCore 2 machine for testing this release. I tested the 
5.7.2p2 on  FCore1 and FCore1 64. Sounds like a gcc issue.
What version are you running?
