Neil, The Linux binary I provide runs on most flavors of Linux (debian, RH Enterprise, Slack etc) that I know of. It should build so long as you have gcc/g77 up to date, as well as openmotif (not the lesstif which is generally bundled since it does not provide full Motif functionality). Several gembud-list discussions about running under RH Enterprise mention setting the environmental variable LANG to "C" so that Motif fonts are treated correctly in unicode land.
