Celia,

Dcnldn is part of the GEMPAK 5.6 source code tree which can be downloaded 
from http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/content/software/gempak/
(see the "Download Software" link.

The decoder is found under $NAWIPS/unidata/ldmbridge/dcnldn.

It sounds like you are looking at an old GEMPAK 5.4 distribution
if your decoders are not the "dc" style.
