Brendon, Dcprof will decoder the BUFR profiler data in the NOAAPORT (HRS) data stream (IUPT0[1-4]). Tables B and D are in $GEMTBL/grid. The program NAMSND will decode the forecast BUFR sounding files created for the ETA model posted on the NWS ftp sites. Other utility programs from the NAVY melbufr package are currently built from $GEMPAK/source/melbufr. The library is used in the BUFR product creation programs in $GEMPAK/source/programs/util by the National Centers.
