Josh,

Yes, in GEMPAK 5.6.F, I added the parameter "IMBAR" which is used similar to
the CLRBAR parameter for controlling the display of the image bar.
Setting IMBAR=0 will prevent the display of the image bar (from satfil 
or radfil).
