Gempak problems

Apologies if I'm replying to too many lists here.

In my experience, you may need to run "gpend" or possibly

        $GEMPAK/../bin/scripts/cleanup
        $GEMPAK/../bin/scripts/rmque

and then try your gempak job again.  Heavy gempak users here seem to have
to run "cleanup" repeatedly during their larger scripts to avoid the
problems you have described.
