20020220: gfunc problem

Clint,

The '//' naming was broken at NCEP when they added the
GDFILE aliases, since the file name "eta" does not match
the returned YYYYMMDDHH_eta211.gem string.

I fixed this in our release of 5.6.F which I will be putting out
soon.
