Darien, The NCEP decoder dcairm stores the AIRMET data as ASCII files. The NCEP decoder dcacft decodes AIREP, PIREP, RECCO and AMDAR reports to GEMPAK ship format surface files. My dcacars decoder for the NetCDF ACARS feed from FSL decodes the data into GEMPAK ship format surface files.
