The other tarfile is executables. But, since you only need to download garp and not all of the other executables, I just placed the garp executable in the ~gbuddy/nawips-5.6/binary/solarix_x86 directory. All you need to do is download it to your $GEMEXE directory and make sure it is executable (eg "chmod a+x $GEMEXE/garp" ). Chiz Steve Chiswell
