20001219: GEMPAK 5.6.A release

This archive contains answers to questions sent to Unidata support through mid-2025. Note that the archive is no longer being updated. One note on the 5.6.A distribution is that I have your patched sfmap.f 
routine in the source tarfile distribution as:
$GEMPAK/source/programs/sf/sfmap/sfmap.f.uwyo.

This distribution still uses the previous version, so you might want to copy
the file to match your changes. I have forwarded your changes to
NCEP and will work with them to clean up the problem you were seeing.
