So-Young, I don't know anything about the MSS files, so I can't tell you where the core dump is occuring. You can run dcncprof in verbose mode to have a better idea of where the program is running into trouble: dcncprof -d - -v And, it would be useful if you could send me one of the files in question so that I can test it out and make sure they are the same CDL as what the decoder was developed for.
