Scott and Steve,

I have found that when I allow 72 times to be stored
in the surface file with sfmetr (using the 20 minute obs),
the string lengths defined in sfchck.f for the times
in the head*132 and string*132 are too short. I increased
these 2 strings to 512 characters.
