Ok. So we know the GEMPAK gif driver works. I posted a gfw driver in the Linux 
binary directory ~gbuddy/nawips-5.4/binary/linux.


The problem would appear to be your program that adds you logo.
Do you know what program you are running to add your logo from add_logo1.sh?
