David, The current distribution is PL15 and builds out of the tarfile on RedHat Linux using gcc and f2c on Intel platforms. I also provide the binaries for Linux under the ~gbuddy/nawips-5.4/binary/linux directory. I have been waiting to update these until we obtained a motif library compatible with GlibC2.1 which we now have- and the pl15 tarfile is now available. Is Linux on Alpha not able to build the distribution using gcc and f2c? I am switching from f2c to g77 for the gempak6.0 release which we plan on making in the spring.
