20000107: A bit more information needed.

Karl,

if you are having trouble with dcgrib, then it sounds like you
are not running at least patchlevel 12 of the GEMPAK distribution
made available this past July. 

The problem with satellite data was addressed with the garp 2.1 
patch14 and the imar2gm.f routine both announced to the
gembud email list.

If you have not installed these gempak patches, then we should 
get you caught up to the present with a complete pl15 distribution.

Let me know if this is the case, or if you have installed
the above referenced gempak patches and still have trouble.
