If nothing else is running on the system and you just rebooted (presumably you are out of netscape now), it sounds like an X server configuration was changed. Verify that xdpyinfo shows that the default visual is an 8 bit (pseudocolor) display. I don't know why ntl would say you have 1400 colors available. That doesn't sound right. Have you tried cutting down the number of colors that ntl is requesting- like "ntl -s 64" for 64 satellite colors instead of 128? Steve Chiswell
