Hi Robb, the missing grib2-Parameters were: # Discipline Category ParameterNumber Name Unit Description 0 1 77 RAIN_GSP kg/m2 Large scale rain rate (s) 0 1 76 RAIN_CON kg/m2 Convective rain rate (s) These parameters are not listed under http://www.ecmwf.int/publications/manuals/d/gribapi/fm92/grib2/show/parameter/0/1/, so i don't know if these are official parameters. From the German weather service i received a complete list of all the parameters they use so far (including discipline number, category and parameter number). I attached the list to this email as an excel-file (hope it got through your spam-filter...). Thanks a lot! I'm trying to complete my memory on these parameters. Are they official Grib2 parameters? Thanks, RObb... =============================================================================== Robb Kambic Unidata Program Center Software Engineer III Univ.
